# Foundation, Expansion, and Value Capture

Nano started as a sniper bot product, but the current foundation is designed to be easily expandable beyond the initial bot scope.\
The long-term direction is a broader protocol ecosystem, not a single standalone bot feature set.

Nano has protocol-owned rails, which gives full control over expansion and product direction.

Because of that foundation, Nano is not limited to being just a sniper bot product.\
It can evolve into a full protocol ecosystem with its own launchpads, fee routes, and additional product layers.

While Nano is not a fork-first product in vision, forking Clanker V3.1 was a practical foundation decision.\
It reduced development time, and it allows Nano to capture 100% of protocol fees to fund continued development and future expansion.

Value capture comes from more than token usage alone:

* Revenue can come from protocol-level fees, not only from token gating.
* The token can be used for broader ecosystem utility over time, beyond initial access control.

Nano also benefits from existing distribution through Fargram, a bot product with exposure to \~7,000 users.

Execution priority is Telegram-first.\
The web version is planned next, after Telegram flows are fully polished.
